Great first question, so let's cut to the chase!
Whilst there are obviously variables (such as the condition of the walls), a typical "fully finished including all labour and materials" cost per m2 is around £12 for walls in good condition.
So for a living room sized at 4m x 4m, with walls at 2.5m high, the total area (including ceiling) would be 56m2, so indicative cost would be £672 (56m2 x £12 per m2).
