That’s a really fair question — and one I’m happy to answer.
Before setting up my own business, I worked for the Finishes & Interiors Sector (FIS), the trade organisation that sets the benchmark for quality in our industry.
That experience means I’m fully up to speed with the standards, best practices, and workmanship that the FIS expects from its members.
I’ve trained directly with leading spray plastering product and machinery manufacturers, and I’ve even had the opportunity to work alongside a former Plasterer of the Year — so I take real pride in doing things the right way.
Having built my own home, I’ve seen first-hand what poor workmanship looks like — and I’ve made it a personal mission to never operate like that. I treat every job with the care and respect I’d expect in my own home.
I'm also passionate about giving back to my local area and have partnered with Barnsley College to offer plastering graduates hands-on experience, training, and employment opportunities.
In short — I genuinely care about the standard of work I deliver and the trust my customers place in me, and I back that up with experience, integrity, and a commitment to doing things properly.
